Bert Verstraeten and Jolien Vromant strengthen the horsum team

As from October 1st, 2018 Bert Verstraeten will join the horsum team as director. Together with Dennis Houthoofd and Frederik Vervoort, he will further develop horsum. Bart will be focussing on process optimisations, data-analyses, information security, IT selection processes and internal audit engagements.

Bert started his career in 2006 as a financial auditor at Deloitte. Two years later, he joined the internal audit department of Vandemoortele, a company active in the food industry. Afterwards, Bert started as internal auditor at Barco, a listed high-tech company. In 2014, Bert became head of Barco’s internal audit department and business process owner Security & Controls within the context of the worldwide SAP implementation. After a master’s degree in Applied Economics (University of Ghent), Bert also obtained a master in Operations & Technology Management (University of Ghent).

Jolien Vromant joined horsum as consultant last May. Within horsum she focusses on process optimisations, financial analyses and internal audit engagements. Before, Jolien worked as a financial auditor at EY for five years. Like Bert, Jolien also obtained a master’s degree in Applied Economics (University of Leuven).
