Senior Consultant - Digital Transformation with a Focus on Finance

We are looking for a driven (Senior) Digital Transformation Consultant with a focus on Finance to strengthen our team.

Imagine joining horsum as a consultant. What can you expect?

From day one, you will be involved in a variety of client projects. Guided by a Senior Consultant or Manager, you will actively contribute to the execution of project activities. Sometimes you will work independently, and other times alongside a fellow (junior) consultant.

Your projects will revolve around three key pillars: financial process optimisation, digital finance tools & reporting, and business advisory.
Examples of projects you may work on include:

• Mapping and optimising a company's finance processes (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, month-end closing, reporting, etc.)
• Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability within retail or manufacturing businesses
• Supporting the selection and implementation of digital tools to automate financial workflows
• Guiding clients through the adoption of new software solutions by providing training and follow-up support
• Developing financial reporting dashboards (e.g. in Power BI) that provide management with actionable insights
• Detecting inefficiencies in operational processes that impact finance and translating these into concrete improvement initiatives

• You have at least 5 years of experience in finance, processes, data, or digital transformation.
  (For example, as an auditor, controller, accountant, consultant, or business analyst.)
• You hold a Master's degree in Business Engineering, Applied Economics, Business Administration, or an equivalent field.
• You have a professional level of Dutch. Knowledge of French and English is considered a strong asset.
• Experience with finance and pre-accounting tools such as Exact Online, Blue10, Power BI, or similar solutions is a definite plus.
• You are analytical, critical-minded, and well-structured in your approach.
• You take ownership of your work, are highly organised, and appreciate clear agreements.
• You communicate effectively and can present recommendations and results to clients in a clear and structured manner.
• You have an affinity for digital tools; prior experience is valuable, but a strong willingness to learn is even more important.
• You enjoy variety and can easily switch between different projects and deadlines.
