Project in the spotlight - Credit Management & Advice

From insight to impact: managing cash flow, performance and strategic decisions

For organizations active in credit management, insight is not a luxury but a necessity. Understanding where cases stall, how quickly outstanding amounts are recovered, and which clients or case types truly deliver results makes the difference between reactive follow-up and targeted steering.

For Credit Management & Advice (CMA), reporting proved to be exactly that lever.

CMA - Client Case

Real control over cases, clients and results

Since the introduction of its first reporting in 2022, CMA has had a consistent and reliable view of its operations over time.
This delivers tangible benefits for their clients — the creditors:

  • Transparency on performance: clearly demonstrating the efforts made and the concrete results achieved.
  • Objective foundation: recovered amounts and processing times are measurable and comparable.
  • Stronger dialogue: discussions with clients are no longer based on gut feeling, but on facts and data.

In addition, the reporting provides a clear overview of the client portfolio: inflow and outflow of clients, evolution in submitted cases, and their quality. This enables targeted follow-up and well-founded decision-making.

Further refinement in 2026: managing speed and timing

At the start of 2026, this approach was further refined. Reporting was enhanced with a clear time dimension, unlocking new insights:

  • How quickly are outstanding amounts recovered after a case is initiated at CMA?
  • What is the impact of the timing at which cases are submitted?
  • Which timing leads to better processing times and higher recovery rates?

These insights help clients adjust their own processes and expectations, with a direct impact on cash flow and results.
At the same time, an additional internal layer was introduced: insights into CMA’s realized revenue, its evolution over time, and analyses per client and per case type. As a result, reporting not only supports external accountability but also internal steering and strategic decision-making.

A collaboration that challenges and builds trust

The strength of this reporting does not lie solely in the numbers, but in the journey behind it.
A deep understanding of the business is key: grasping how CMA operates, identifying the real levers, and understanding the questions behind the data.
In practice, this collaboration means:

  • asking the right questions when needed,
  • critically challenging assumptions where they replace real insights,
  • while ensuring a correct, robust, and technically sound delivery.

This approach results in dashboards that are not only visually clear, but also accurate in content and trustworthy — both operationally and strategically.
