Your job
Suppose you are starting soon as a consultant at horsum. What exactly does your job entail?
You are involved in various customer projects from the first day. Under the supervision of a senior consultant or manager, you are responsible for the implementation of the different project steps. You may do this in collaboration with another (junior) consultant.
The projects are divided into three main pillars: business advisory, business assessment & digital selection and Power BI.
What kind of projects are these specifically? Some examples:
- Drawing and optimizing the operational process of a service company
- Spotting opportunities to improve the margins of a food company
- Mapping the digitalization possibilities of a construction company
- Holding a workshop at a manufacturing company with a view to process improvements
- Creating a Power BI report to give a distribution company more insight into their sales

Your education and competencies
- You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in processes, finance, data or digitalization. For example, you have worked as an auditor, controller, consultant or business analys, for example.
- You have a Master's degree in Business Engineering, TEW, Commercial Sciences or equivalent.
- You have a good professional knowledge of Dutch, French and English, both written and spoken.
- You have an eye for structure.
- You have a critical and analytical mind.
- You have excellent organizational skills and a great sense of responsibility.
- You like to coach people.
- You can lead a presentation in a structured and clear way (e.g. presenting results to the client).
- You are flexible in changing circumstances and sufficiently stress resistant to switch quickly between different projects with changing priorities and deadlines.
